ATLANTA, GA FEBRUARY 13, 2013 – Returning to Atlanta for the first time in six years, MRO has selected EventSphere as the official housing provider for the 2013 MRO Americas Aviation Week. Taking place April 16-18, 2013 at Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center, Aviation Week is the largest information and services provider to the global commercial, defense, maintenance/repair/overhaul (MRO), space and business aviation communities. “We chose to work with EventSphere for numerous reasons, two of the most important being their stellar reputation and the fact that they are local, thus already having established relationships with the Atlanta-area hotels,” said Lydia Janow, Director of Events & Tradeshows for Aviation Week. “We look forward to working with EventSphere for Aviation Week, and can already tell that our business relationship is going to be a successful one.”
As the largest multimedia information and services provider to the global aviation, aerospace and defense industries, Aviation Week attracts professionals from the civil aviation and defense MRO industries. Anticipating approximately 3,300 peak night reservations, EventSphere has contracted with 18 downtown hotels to house all the attendees dedicated to the aviation maintenance industry. “Our partnership with MRO and Aviation Week has a lot of potential,” said EventSphere President & CEO Todd Lambert. “The combination of our experience with their well-established event is the key formula to a successful collaboration.”
